Iranian short ‘Inhale’ wins at Chicago Southland fest

Iranian short film ‘Inhale’ has garnered the Best Short Film award at the fourth edition of the Chicago Southland International Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Nasser Zamiri, ‘Inhale’ is about a couple who have to deal with some challenges.

“Ebrahim's recurring insomnia has caused tension between him and his wife, Marziyeh,” reads a tagline for the flick.

The short flick participated in a number of international events before, including the Huesca International Film Festival in Spain, the Mister Vorky One-Minute and Short Film Festival in Serbia, and the Oxford Short Film Festival in the UK.

The Chicago Southland International Film Festival is held with the “core values of inclusiveness, diversity and promoting quality of life”.

The event was held in a hybrid format from October 15 to 17.
